We have been working hard with the Livermead House Hotel, in Torquay, our base for the 2025 Annual Gathering, to resolve the issues about availability of rooms on extra nights around our core weekend dates.

Initially our specification for the weekend offered two sets of dates: 25th to 27th April or 4th to 6th April 2025, and in the end we chose the former.  However, the Livermead House Hotel approached us yesterday to ask if we would consider changing our weekend to 4th to 6th April, when we could have full availability for the Thursday night right through to the Sunday night.  The Joint Chairs, the lead organiser for 2025 and the committee have carefully considered this and agreed to it.  So the new dates for 2025 are 4th to 6th April, still at the Livermead House Hotel in Torquay.

If you have already booked 4 nights at the Livermead you do not need to do anything.  The hotel will make all the necessary arrangements to transfer your booking to the new dates and will confirm this in writing.  If you have booked but were disappointed that you could not add the Thursday or Sunday nights, again the hotel will be in contact with you as that is now possible.  If you would like to stay at the base hotel but have not yet approached them, please do so before the end of April.  The hotel is holding the whole hotel for us up to this date, after which they will accept non-Saville bookings.

The room rates for any current booking will still apply to the new dates.

We know that it is unprecedented to change the announced dates of our Annual Gathering but, in the circumstances, we feel it is the right thing to do.  We look forward to seeing you all in Torquay.
