The Book Search Facility

The informal committee of the Malcolm Saville Society, at its meeting on the 21 August 1999 held in Rye, felt it necessary to clarify how the Book Search Facility should operate. This is due to the changed and evolving nature of the Facility since its inauguration in 1995. Colin Harding initially referred to these changes in a letter to Members of the Society in November 1999 but it is important for all new members to be aware of how the Book Search Facility operates in relation to the Society.

In summary the Book Search Facility is:

  1. Independent of the Malcolm Saville Society.
  2. Has no financial links with the Society.
  3. Run on a cost-covering basis and is not intended to make profit from sales to Society members.
  4. Currently operated by Ray Ham-Longman and is recognised as an "approved" facility for Society Members.
