PeewitThe Lone Piners called to each other whistling the call of the Peewit , also known as a Lapwing. This publication gives contact details allowing members to keep in touch with each other. The details are only for use by members and are not used for commercial purposes. Names and addresses are not sold or given to other organizations.

The Flower-show HatThis book was produced by the Malcolm Saville Society in 2001 to mark the centenary of Malcolm Saville's birth. It is a short story which first appeared in the 1950 The Guide Gift Book. Penny Warrender has an adventure in Rye without the help of the Mortons. This hardback book is 32 pages long and is 190 x 133mm - the same size as the Newnes Lone Pine books. As well as the story, the book has a foreword by Mark O'Hanlon , and an introduction by George Jasieniecki. The dust wrapper illustration is by Kim Spencer. Short Story Competition - 2006In 2006 the Society held a Short Story Competition, inviting members to submit short stories about the Lone Pine characters. Sam Young and Alan Stone organised the publication of all 16 entries in book form.
