Short Story Competition

Following the success of the competition held in 2006 we have recently repeated the event. Our second short story competition was open to all members of the Society.

The 2006 competition showed that many members have keen imaginations regarding scenarios that never appeared in the books and enjoy speculating about what might have happened to the characters.

The entries were judged by our distinguished panel of judges: Tim Hall, Liz Manterfield, Mike McGarry, Doreen Scott and the winner of our 2006 competition - Helene Wilkinson.

The results are as follows:

All of the entries are available in a book produced by Alan Stone on behalf of the Society. Copies are available from Alan for £7 plus £1.75 p&p. As a bonus you can buy it, along with the book for the 2006 competition for £10 plus £2.50 p&p.
