The Society is run by a dedicated team many of whom are shown below. We welcome the active involvement of members for as well as spreading the workload, it helps build friendships.
Frank Shepperd
Chairman. Frank has the unenviable task of trying to
coordinate the many various activities of the Society.
George is the Society Secretary who circulates the appropriate information.
Deputy Chairwoman of the Committee.
Treasurer and keeper of the money-bag.
Mike also holds back issues of the magazine Acksherley. He also has copies of the DVD Treasure and Trouble, which he helped produce, for sale.
Membership Registrar. Please send application forms, renewals, changes of address etc to Bill.
Bill also acts as Webmaster, keeping the society website up-to-date.
As Editor of the Society magazine, Acksherley!, Alan welcomes your ideas, articles and anything else he can use as copy.
Alan has recently produced a book of Short Stories, written for a competition we held in 2006.
