February Ramblings 2027

For the 2027 Ramblings weekend we will be based in Ludlow, ready for circular walks in the Clee Hills and close to Craven Arms.

As usual, this event is for keen and experienced hill walkers, who enjoy returning to Shropshire most years and are happy to take on board the unpredictable weather and underfoot conditions at this time of year.

Our Saturday walk will be a circular walk of some 8 miles, and our Sunday walk will be a circular walk of approx 6.5 miles. Both walks will involve driving to the starting points and routes may be changed because of conditions that weekend.

We will be based in Ludlow for our evening meals and accommodation can be found online, using the usual booking sites such as Trivago, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Vrbo, Airbnb, etc to suit a range of pockets and preferences. The only chain accommodation is the Ludlow Travelodge, which is just off the bypass.

We will be gathering in Ludlow on the Friday evening for a 19:00 meal and our Saturday evening and Sunday late afternoon meals will also be in local pub/restaurants.

Further details, including how to register for this event, will be posted in September and will include payment of deposits for meals booked. Watch this space!
