30th Anniversary celebrations in Hereford this week!

30th Anniversary celebrations in Hereford this week!

Just a few days now until the 2024 MSS Annual Gathering in Hereford - which will also celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Society.

94 members are meeting at The Green Dragon Hotel and visiting the Cathedral, the Mappa Mundi and the Chained Library. Hereford is the city that provides one of the focal points of Saville's 1950 Buckinghams book The Master of Maryknoll.

Some members will be going to Ludlow, and exploring the possible location of Maryknoll. Others will visit the Black & White House and the Cider Museum in Hereford.

On Sunday there are guided tours of Hereford, looking out for Master of Maryknoll connections.

And, of course, there will be lots of Fabulous Feasts and fun...and the 2024 AGM at The Green Dragon Hotel at 11:00 on Sunday.

It's great that there will be  a number of people attending the event as their very first Society event in person - we're sure they'll have a great time! They will also be able to join in the 30th Anniversary celebrations of a Society that continues to bring together fans of Malcolm Saville's books for a range of activities and events, long after his death in 1982.
