The deadline to reserve a place for the next Saville Lunch, on 17 October, in Oxford, is approaching! Julia needs to know numbers by 21 September. 

More details of this event are on the EVENTS page and we are encouraging those who are not yet Society members but already members of the Facebook page Not just the Lone Pine Club (for ALL Malcolm Saville fans) to join us as well. Come and try out a Society event without any need to become a full paid up Society member! 

Our lunches are informal get-togethers, with conversation ranging far more widely than Saville and his books. They are not 'literary events' but more social events. There will be a wide range of people and interests represented, but in a relatively small, friendly and welcoming group. Try us - you won't regret it!
