Julie Hall is putting out feelers to see if anyone would be interested in an unofficial gathering for lunch in Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday 4th November at 12.30pm.

It would work on a similar basis to the London lunches, in that she will research and book the venue and send out menu information etc to anyone who has signed up; we would all then pay individually on the day (unless the venue requires a deposit in which case she’d let us know - the restaurant she has in mind, if she can secure the booking, doesn’t require deposits).

If you haven’t been to Stratford before (or even if you have!) there is plenty to entertain you for a lovely day out, and you’d be free before or after the lunch to do your own thing. The lunch is just a nice opportunity to meet up with old friends (and make new ones!) in between the more official gatherings.

The intention is that this will appeal to people living in or near the Midlands, but of course if anyone wants to come from further afield that is fine too! (There are plenty of nice hotels and B&Bs to choose from!)

PS If this is successful she will try to organise a similar event in February in Oxford! (she lives half way between the 2 places!).
