Spreading the word...!

In March, Joint Chair Pam Kirkland gave a talk to the Great Dunmow Historical and Literary Society on 'Malcolm Saville: his life, works and legacy.'
Although, of the audience of about thirty, only two or three had previously heard of Malcolm Saville (one woman was an ex-Society member and brought along her Saville books), the talk was very well-received: no one fell asleep - well, at least, no one snored! - and many commented on how interesting they had found the talk. Many were surprised and disappointed that they hadn't come across his books as children, and were planning to look out for them in the future.
It is always good to spread the Saville word!
