London Lunch January 2026

30 Malcolm Saville fans met for the latest London Lunch at the Prix Fixe Brasserie in Dean Street, just down the road from the Pierre Victoire restaurant, where we had eaten on a previous occasion.

The restaurant features a very reasonable two course prix fixe menu, with several choices for each course. I had a delicious goat's cheese and beetroot salad followed by wonderful cod with a seafood sauce. There were several tempting desserts but, unfortunately, I was too full up to have one! Everyone else also seemed very satisfied with their choices.

We occupied a large area at the back of the restaurant and some of us managed to move about to speak to different people. It was lovely to see old friends but also to meet people who were attending this event for the first time.

Thank you to Barbara and Jenny for organising another successful London Lunch. The Prix Fixe is a real find with terrific food and a very friendly atmosphere.
