It was first published as a book in 2001, by the Malcolm Saville Society, to mark the centenary of Malcolm Saville's birth
This hardback book is 32 pages long and is 190 x 133mm - the same size as the Newnes Lone Pine books. As well as the story, the book has a foreword by Mark O'Hanlon and an introduction by George Jasieniecki. The dust wrapper illustration is by Kim Spencer.
